EAA conference in Glasgow 2015 - session submission deadline

The 21st Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, 2 – 5 September 2015. As you know, the call for proposing Sessions and Round Tables for the Meeting is now open and will terminate on October 31, 2014. Session and Round Table proposal must be made electronically at http://eaaglasgow2015.com/call-for-sessions/
Proposals can be made by at least two EAA members with affiliations in two different countries. Please note that only EAA members who have covered their membership fees for 2015 are allowed to propose and organise a Session (please check your membership status by e-mailing to administrator@e-a-a.org).
The following six themes define the framework of the Glasgow 2015 EAA Annual Meeting:
1) Celtic Connections
2) Archaeology and Mobility
3) Reconfiguring Identities
4) Science and Archaeology
5) Communicating Archaeology
6) Legacies and Visions

If you feel that your session cannot be comfortably accommodated within these, please indicate clearly in your abstract that you prefer it to be considered within a broader theme, such as ‘Interpreting the Archaeological Record’, ‘Managing the Archaeological Record’ or ‘Methods & Theory’. Please note, there is no specific field for these additional options in the online submission form and you should select a closely related theme from the list then state an alternative preferred theme at the end of your abstract.

The Call for Papers opens on 19 December 2014 and closes on 16 February 2015. The provisional meeting programme is now available: http://eaaglasgow2015.com/programme/
